My Experiences From Online Dating
I determined I’d try out the internet dating scene after a horrible relationship break-up about 6 years ago. It took me 6 years just to get over the “gun shy” attitude I had with regard to women. I know this approach was having a negative effect in my daily life, not to bring up my sex life, which is another story. Perhaps I’ll dwell into that later. With that being said, I’d like to tell you a story of one of my online encounters…
I met quite a lot of women while online and only knew what they said regarding themselves, which usually was fantacies. I only actually met with a few and those had been interesting to say the least. Those encounters ranged from a 6’-8” transgender, I’m guessing, to a woman with 5 kids who was after a man with a profession. (Not judging… Just saying…) Then along came Debbie. (Not really her name) She was very striking in all ways, judging by her emails and her picture we were an absolute match! We wrote and talked for a few weeks, then decided to meet.
It was a Sunday morning; a scenic day and we equally agreed to meet at her home. She lived in the country, all up in the woods, very sheltered area and quite a lovely view from her house. The situation was perfect! There we sat out back under the tree at the picnic bench and had a glass of wine and just talked. It was great, I was actually having fun, and she was so pretty in her short skirt, not really formal wear but not quite untailored either. I was intrigued with her conversations and all was pointing to “This is the one!” I could hear the marriage bells ringing…
So as we were talking, she all of a sudden jumped up and said “Hold on, I’ll be right back”. OK…? I thought as she took off running to the house. After about 30 seconds I hear this loud Whack and felt something whiz by my head! She comes running up to the table with this rifle and a hunting knife, I looked behind me in the woods and saw this Deer. It was staggering, falling down, getting up and walking. Debbie says to me “Are you ready to help me or just sit there!?” and took off running into the woods. I didn’t comprehend what to do, I was so shocked! I got up and followed her while thinking… “This is very eerie”.
I get over to wherever she is and she tells me to pick up the back legs, which she’d wrapped a with a tie. Collectively we lifted the poor Deer up and hung it on a low branch on a tree. Now you’ve got to imagine this, she’s in her petite skirt, not really formal wear but not entirely casual either, and she cuts the Deer’s gullet. Then she turns to me and says “Where I grew up you don’t dilly dally around and hesitate when fresh meat’s there for the takin’!” Sort of sardonically.
Other than that… It was a nice date! We one way or another drifted away and the spark just wasn’t there, for me. Her? I believe she thought I was whuz! Not in reality her type.
To all of you at this time pursuing an online relationship, good luck and beware!
